About

North of Auckland on a quiet country road, just off the beaten track you’ll find my playground.

A fourth generation family homestead in Tomarata, lovingly and simply called ‘The Farm’. It’s the perfect mix of sloping pastures and flora & fauna. Our patch of native bush swallows treasure from years gone by. The Farm is where my making happens.

I have a knack for seeing a purpose in the overlooked be it a weathered post, rocks from an ancient lava flow, an Op Shop find, or a forgotten relic. They beg for exploration, of materiality, textures, structure, light and often supplement the more traditional materials I use to create mixed media pieces.

My degree in applied arts serves as a foundation of fundamental skills, including traditional lost wax casting method, but I enjoy bending the rules, experimenting and pushing the boundaries of materials to create my artworks.
